A few weeks ago Xiaomi announced the presence of its new smartphone in the Thai market, namely the Redmi Note 6 Pro . Reportedly, Xiaomi will also bring this smartphone to the Indian market and it is possible that this smartphone will also be marketed in Indonesia.
One thing that is the main attraction of this smartphone is the support of four embedded cameras. Yes! Xiaomi completes the Redmi Note 6 Pro with dual-camera rear and dual-camera front. You could say this is Xiaomi’s move that will spoil mobile photography lovers.
6.26 inch screen with FullHD + resolution
Xiaomi really packs the Redmi Note 6 Pro in contrast to its predecessor series. The Redmi Note 6 Pro screen is slightly wider, measuring 6.26 inches FullHD + with a 19: 9 aspect ratio. The screen technology adopted is still the same as the Redmi Note 5 Pro, which is IPS LCD and has been protected by Gorilla Glass.
Xiaomi also inserts bangs at the top of the screen that are allocated to load a dual front camera, earpiece, notification light, and ambient light and proximity sensors. While the rear panel is made of unibody metal and there we can find dual-camera rear support and fingerprint.
In plain view, Xiaomi is indeed concocting the back panel of this smartphone not unlike the Redmi Note 5 Pro which was introduced earlier this year in India. The pieces are really similar, it’s just that the antenna design is pinned.
Still use the chipset belonging to Redmi Note 5 Pro
The Redmi Note 5 Pro which was introduced earlier this year has used the Snapdragon 636 Octa-core chipset as its brain. One thing that is quite surprising, Redmi Note 6 Pro apparently still uses the same chipset which already integrated GPU Adreno 509.
But for the choice of RAM on the Redmi Note 6 Pro is more diverse, namely 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB. As for storage, there are two options available, namely 32 GB and 64 GB. 3GB RAM will be paired with 32GB of storage, while 4GB and 6GB RAM will be paired with 64GB of storage.
Still the same as the Redmi Note 5 Pro, for Note 6 Pro Xiaomi also equipped it with the support of a 4,000 mAh battery. It’s just that Xiaomi doesn’t confirm, whether the battery that is embedded in the body of the Redmi Note 6 Pro has a fast charging feature or not.
Dual-camera rear and front
As mentioned above, Xiaomi presents the Redmi Note 6 Pro with dual-camera rear support and front dual-camera. For the rear, two lens sensors installed have a 12 MP resolution , aperture f / 1.9 + 5 MP, f / 2.0 aperture .
As for the front dual-camera, Xiaomi inserts a lens with a resolution of 20 MP as the main lens that has an f / 2.0 plus 2 MP aperture as a secondary lens that has sensor depth. Interestingly, the existing dual-camera is equipped with AI technology.
Prices and availability
Until now Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 6 Pro available in the Thai market. In that country, Xiaomi markets this smartphone for THB 7,000 or around IDR 3.2 million . Available color choices are red, blue, pink and black.
In the near future, Xiaomi will also introduce the Redmi Note 6 Pro on the Indian market. Unfortunately Xiaomi still shut up, will this smartphone be officially brought to the Indonesian market or not? So, let’s wait!
