Mi Mix 3: with 103 points in DxOMark, site publishes new photos captured by smartphone

The highly anticipated Mi Mix 3 was officially unveiled this Thursday, October 25th, revealing a powerful set of hardware, beautifully finished design and a feature inherited from the more traditional 2000s cell phones: the slide . This ends up being one of the most attractive features of the device, which differs from all other models on the market.

But beyond the retractable display, the camera’s camera also gained improvements over the previous model and now has Artificial Intelligence to enhance the photos.

The GSMArena staff got their hands on the device during its launch and took the opportunity to take a series of photos to test the front and rear cameras of the Mi Mix 3. Check the results.

Comparisons with IA mode

Again the site tests artificial intelligence mode: the first two photos are with the feature disabled, the last two are with the new feature enabled.

The Mi Mix 3 arrives with a screen with tiny edges in both the top and the bottom. Xiaomi bets on Samsung’s AMOLED screen that is also slider, a design solution adopted by the manufacturer not to surrender to the notch.

Instead of adapting a wide notch like the iPhones of 2018 or presenting a drop notch or still maintaining a large bottom edge as in previous generations, Xiaomi picks up on the past and implements sliders between the screen and the body of the device to hide the components and enable a larger screen.
