Motorola has just completed its participation in giving birth to a flagship smartphone. In a special event held in Chicago, USA, Motorola finally introduced the Moto Z3 as the latest and highest variant of the Moto Z series.
The Moto Z3 itself may be a smartphone variant that supports the last Moto Mods from Motorola. Because the news spread that starting next year, Motorola will no longer develop a modular system for its smartphones.
Still having a shape similar to its two predecessors, the Moto Z3 looks very slim with a bulbous round camera module. The difference is, now the screen that measures 6 inches Full HD + and is made of Super AMOLED panels already has an 18: 9 aspect ratio without bangs.
And because the chin part is now thinner, practically we won’t find a fingerprint sensor in that section. Fingerprint sensor is of course still there, but is now placed on the side of the smartphone, similar to the Xperia Z5 series.
The hardware sector might be a disappointing topic for most flagship smartphone lovers. Because as the latest and highest variants, the Moto Z3 is only equipped with the Snapdragon 835 chipset which was a processor last year. Yes, maybe Motorola doesn’t get the Snapdragon 845 allotment.
Moto Z3 battery capacity is also quite disappointing, which is only 3,000 mAh . As we know, this capacity feels less kicking, especially when paired with high-end hardware. While the storage and RAM are 4 and 64 GB , it feels quite small.
The only interesting thing about the Moto Z3 is a mod that functions to capture 5G signals with a built-in Qualcomm X50 modem in it. Of course these Moto Mods are sold separately. The plan of Moto Z3 will be marketed on August 16 at a price of US $ 480 (Rp. 6.7 million) bundling operator Verizon .
