Apple has sent out invitations to the press confirming that its next event will be held on September 12. This is the silhouette of the Apple Park round; the keynote will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater. We expect to see new iPhones, a MacBook Air with Retina display, an iPad Pro with Face ID, and more.
- iPad (2018): The Most Accessible Model Made Powerful
Rumors say Apple will release three iPhones , all with screen-to-edge and notch for Face ID. They should also bring bigger batteries than their predecessors.
According to Bloomberg , we will have:
- an update of the iPhone X of 5.8 inches, with new processor and improved camera;
- an iPhone X with OLED screen larger than 6.5 inches and input for two chips “in at least some regions”;
- a 6.1-inch iPhone with LCD screen in blue, red, orange, gray and white .
There are also chances of seeing an iPhone SE 2 , which would have the iPhone 7 processor and would not come with notch.
That’s not all: there are indications that Apple will launch a MacBook Air with a 13-inch Retina screen and slightly thinner edges. It should also update the Mac Mini after four years with no news, bringing new processor and storage options.
iPad Pro with Face ID and Apple Watch with smaller edges
In turn, we expect to see a iPad Pro with thinner edges and Face ID , without Home button (just like on iPhone X). He should win an 11-inch model in addition to the 12.9-inch option.
The Apple Watch should be updated with larger screens and lower edges in models of 1.57 inch and 1.78 inch. Instead of physical buttons, Series 4 must have fixed components that vibrate when pressed.
What else? Rumors point to new AirPods that allow you to say “and there Siri” to activate the personal assistant, without touching the headphones. And AirPower , the wireless charging base, should finally be launched at the event (it was announced a year ago ).
The Tecnoblog will be in Cupertino to cover the Apple event on September 12.
